A Mad Hatter Limerick (sort of)

Hickory Dickory dock

Door mouse ran up the clock.

The tortoise and hare,

they knew he was there,

and the hatter came over from Dover.

I know that it isn’t technically a limerick because the last line doesn’t fit the rhyme scheme of a traditional limerick but it just fell out of my head this way and there was nothing that I could do about it.
