Scars still hurt (a short poem)
They say that time heals all wounds/
And I think that’s true/
Mostly.
Because they don’t tell you about the scars.
Notes:
I don’t think that this a new idea but when I googled this collection of words that I would hesitate to call a quote or a poem, I didn’t see anything. I think that everything can change the perspective on an event or an emotion but sometimes, I don’t think that everything heals up…completely.
Sometimes when everything is quiet, we can often feel a little twinge of something: pain or longing maybe.
